Event Coordinator – EventsAIR specialist 

Full time role starting January 2021   |      Brisbane Location   |     Salary $55,000 plus super 

The Company:

An established event agency based in Carina, Brisbane, Nectar Creative Communications was the only Qld finalist for Best Small Agency of the Year at the 2020 Australian Event Awards. Working within a small agency team, everyone bands together and the company has a great family feel. 

The Role:

The Events Coordinator role will report into the Managing Director but also work with the Events Managers within the business. This role will work on both virtual and in person conferences, gala dinners and other events and be primarily responsible for managing registrations, speakers and the virtual platform for each event.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Managing registrations for events using EventsAIR
  • Registration management
  • Delegate management 
  • Administration duties 
  • Website management 
  • Speaker management (including call for abstracts) 
  • Working with the Events Managers to develop timelines and project plans for each of the events
  • Assisting with the delivery of all the event logistics and project timelines
  • Assisting with client relationship management and communications
  • Budget management and reporting
  • Producing critical paths, timelines, run sheets, contracts
  • Sourcing suppliers and handling contracts
  • Up-selling all client services to existing and new clients at all times
  • Manage on site staff and suppliers

The Candidate:

Registration experience is a must for this role as well extensive experience with EventsAIR.  With a passion for conferences we are looking for someone that handles delegate enquiries with ease as well as speakers requirements and logistics.

  • Experience with EventsAIR and OnAIR mandatory (please don’t apply if you don’t have this)
  • Be highly motivated and results driven with exceptional organisational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to work outside of core hours
  • Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Be proactive and able to make decisions
  • Sound budget management experience
  • Sound judgement and decision making
  • Must love events and have a strong passion for events culture
