Project Description

The Global Summit for Implementing and Enforcing Environmental Law was an action-oriented event that facilitated and strengthened worldwide collaboration and support for regulatory practitioners who implemented and enforced environmental law. The Summit aimed to enhance global capability to address complex regulatory and law enforcement challenges through shared best practice подходитes and tools designed for effective implementation of environmental laws, upholding the environmental rule of law, leveling the playing field for businesses, and advancing environmental governance. Key topic streams included climate change, emerging waste streams, biodiversity and land management, energy, and natural resources management. The Summit also featured multiple streams of universal regulatory topics, such as Indigenous voice in environmental law and regulatory practice, public participation and stakeholder engagement, law design for implementation, advanced monitoring, and more.
