An annual industry event owned by Exhibitions and Trade Fairs that brings travel agents and suppliers together to discuss current trends, issues and opportunities.

ETF sought to inform and inspire delegates by creating an impactful conference program that shifted the way they thought about their business to recognise their own value, and to increase their customer base.

Our Idea:

Our Managing Director, Peta and Event Coordinator, Ashleigh conducted market research to understand the audience and to identify opportunities for the event. We put ourselves in their shoes to understand what they say and do, what they think, what frustrates them and what motivates them?

Using this audience profile, we sourced keynote speakers, experts and panels in line with the conference objectives. Professional Instagrammer Lauren Bath showed delegates how to use Instagram like a pro; Peta Granger from LUSH Australasia talked about the company’s ethical business practices and success; whilst Fairfax Media’s Traveller Editor, Anthony Dennis presented ‘Meet the Australian Traveller: Where They’ve Been, Where They’re Going’.

Results:

Both delegates and speakers found the conference program to be engaging, entertaining and educational. Most importantly they found the conference to be relevant, inspiring them to make a change in their business.
