The annual Highfields Block Party is a free entry community event for approx 5000 – 6000 people, proudly supported by the Highfields North-Eastern Down Lions Club and the retailers of Highfields Village Shopping Centre.
Our idea:
To ensure the long-term sustainability of this free entry family event’s contribution to the Highfields community, with a view of establishing it as the annual fundraising event for the Highfields North-Eastern Down Lions Club and other local community groups.
Results:
Nectar developed the framework for an ongoing exceptional family focused event for the local community which featured musical entertainment, food, amusement rides, community group stalls and a fireworks display. The team developed a sponsorship program to support the event financially and delivered a memorable family focused event for 5000 community members and provided an opportunity for over 20 community groups to fundraise at the event.
