Healthy Towns Awards 2016 is an initiative of the Sunshine Coast Primary Healthy Network (PHN) which aims to support rural and regional towns in their area to run projects that improve local people’s health and happiness. As part of this initiative the Healthy Towns Awards were developed.
The Brief
The client had developed and launched the awards program into the community but needed expert guidance on developing a sponsorship program to support the imitative. Additionally they had no process to manage the judging of the submissions, or resources to pull together the awards ceremony.
Our Idea
Partner with PHN to fill in the gaps! Understanding that this initiative had a limited budget, we focused our efforts on the areas that were most important to the overall success and longevity of the program.
Results
Nectar developed a comprehensive sponsorship strategy and prospectus for the program including creating a sponsor ‘hit list’ using our sponsor matching matrix.
The Healthy Towns Awards 2016 program judging process was written and managed by Nectar to ensure credibility and to enhance prestige for all those recognised for the Awards. With 55 submissions across 4 categories the judging process worked to maintain complete objectivity and fairness.
The event awards luncheon was a brilliant community event, bringing together the finalists and local community to celebrate their achievements.
