Brisbane Event Management Company

What a year! We hit the ground running with a new office space and new recruits, Georgie and Ashleigh.

It’s been a strong year for Nectar, as we build momentum in the pharmaceutical and agribusiness sectors. We’ve recently been listed in Mix Meetings ‘25 Live Event Agencies to Watch in the Year Ahead’.

To celebrate, we’ve handpicked our highlights for 2016:

Connect the Dots Business Series

Terri and Ashleigh worked with the Bank of Queensland (BOQ) in August. They were tasked with delivering a series of breakfasts to engage SME’s across Australia.

Peter Munckton, BOQ’s Head of Markets Analysis reviewed the economy and the impact of the recent election on SME’s whilst Gihan Perera dove into the future of technology.

Attendees loved it! Laura Hannant from Steadfast Solicitors said, this event ‘…was entertaining and also informative. I have been inspired to continue working on my small business’.

Irrigation Australia International Conference & Exhibition

We partnered with Exhibition and Trade Fairs (ETF) to deliver the Irrigation Australia Conference and Gala Dinner. This event brought suppliers, irrigators, researchers and policy makers from urban and rural industries together in Melbourne.

Nectar managed the development of the conference program and logistics. Our efforts paid off as the Net Promoter Score (NPS) for the conference increased by 8 points from 2014.

ETF actually won Exhibition & Event Association of Australasia’s (EEAA) “Best Show Team” Award for this event!

Australian Self Medication Industry (ASMI) Conference & Awards Dinner

Peta and Ashleigh worked with ASMI’s Events Associate, David to deliver the association’s annual conference and awards dinner for the 4th year in a row.

ASMI’s Marketing & Business Development Director, Filomena Maiese said, Nectar ‘…have consistently done an excellent job each and every year across ASMI conference logistics and AV management’.

9th Annual PCOA Conference & Exhibition

The pressure was on as Peta designed and delivered the program for the Annual Professional Conference Organisers Association (PCOA) Conference and Exhibition. The conference theme of Connect, Collaborate, Differentiate was the perfect backdrop for this years event! Such a program attracted record breaking attendance numbers for the association.

The program sought to give valuable insights into what lies ahead and how we as PCO’s should adapt to these inevitable changes. For instance, Yvonne Adele discussed ROI on Social Media for Events whilst Bruce Cotterill reviewed the 7 Principles of Profit.

As we look to the year ahead, we take inspiration from our closing speaker Michael Crossland. If you set your mind to it, you can accomplish it successfully…
